It's a Girl!!!

On Monday October 15th at 11:58 pm we welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby girl into our family.  She surprised us in a few ways that day...First, I still can't believe how quickly she made her arrival!  One minute I was eating dinner then tucking Emmy into bed and about 2 hours later we were checking into the hospital and out she came an hour after that!  Second, she's a she and not a he like we were all betting on, and lastly she's a lot bigger than we thought at 8lbs 9oz and 21.25" long.  We're getting used to life as a family of four and I have to say that Emmy is a great big sister to baby Allie.

Little Miss Independent

Emmy took a gymnastics class this summer
and absolutely loved it!

Well I'm not sure if she loved the class itself or
the fact that she got a sticker and candy after it ended...

Emmy was the only kid who refused to hold

my hand while jumping.

She earned herself the nickname little miss independent.

Driving mom's car, this is a new routine we do EVERY day after work.

Summer time

We spent the 4th of July in Oklahoma and we all had a wonderful time.  Emmy had a lot of firsts on this trip...first time on an airplane, first time on a boat, and first time Walmartin'.  She also got to meet a lot of Ethan's family and is still talking about them and asking when she can see them again.

24 weeks

The months are flying by us at rapid pace!  This baby is going to be here in no time and life as we know it is going to get turned upside down...again.  Here are some Emmy pictures from the last month all taken with my phone, so needless to say, not the best quality.
